Dr. Shariq is a highly trained specialist who has completed rigorous residency training in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, TX. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women in Lahore, Pakistan. She completed several certifications including TMS, Ketamine and received ECT training with Emory University Hospital, Atlanta GA.
